The program defines project financing and distinguishes it from the traditional methods of financing assets. The program begins with a historical look-back after which participants will be review the rationale, requirements, and the appropriateness of project financing. Risks will be examined leading to a group discussion of inputs required for analysis of the viability of a project. During the session we will explore sources of funds, legal structures, and other relevant issues leading to an appreciation and understanding of the complexities inherent in project financing. Case studies will help to solidify understanding of salient concepts.
