Provide industry practice expertise on trade lifecycle activities, free riding, and front running relevant to the case. Support USAG efforts via analysis of case material as required.

Deliverable:
Researched and analyzed securities trading, settlement, margin, and asset servicing practices and regulations. Provided expert opinion regarding industry practices in communications between registered representative and investor client. Special focus was on the exchange of information during placement of sell orders and requirements for short sales as well as payment for purchases and the schedule for extensions.

Prepared to testify for the prosecution, requiring a solid familiarity with rules and regulations associated with order processing and the requirements for timely payments and delivery of securities between the broker and client.

Result:
USAG prepared to proceed to trial confident with the evidence and our subject matter expertise. Defendant entered a guilty plea before the trial was to begin.
