This workshop explains the writing techniques needed to produce clear, concise audit findings. The skills taught are those featured as best practices in an article the instructor wrote for the Journal of the Institute of Internal Auditors, called “Write It Right the First Time.” Although the program focuses on audit findings, it also provides guidance and instruction on writing effective emails, narratives, memos and letters.
Participants may be asked to provide writing samples to the instructor two weeks before the program
